Revlon just bitten kissable balm stain in crush

This stain/balm is so pigmented. Its a gorgeous berry pink colour and feels glossy and smooth on the lips! The stain last for hours even though the sheen wears off.
Here are some swatches of crush...

Revlon just bitten kissable balm stain...

Remember that lip butter craze we had...people running around boots shoving as many as they could grab into their baskets...sold out all over the country?? Well I expected the same fury over these kissable lip stain balm hybrids! Fear not my superdrug had a fair few around! And they dont seen to have has had much hype and weir seems we havnt had to wait an etirnity for them to arrive!
I practically squealed when I saw them they are just so beautiful...i got 3 but was tempted by them all here Is the first 1...cherish!
So far I love them but I haven't had them long...2 hours maybe!
The texture is quite firm you have to build up a few layers they feel a little sticky at first but dry to an almost none existent layer!
I tested it out and ate a sandwich...it's still there :D !
Here are some pretty pictures...

Sleek pout paint

I have not got a lot of sleek makeup I tend to stick to the brands I that and don't venture outside my comfort zone much...*snore* !
But I have heard nothing but good about the brand so I picked up this light bright pink lip conditioner!
It's a gorgeous texture, not sticky on the lips but thick and creamy.
It isn't the most pigmented product however it gives just enough colour and is build able.
It lasts well and moisturises beautifully!

Mua 'out there' plumping lipgloss

I have ears about these before and I am nt the biggest lipgloss fan I find they just make lips looks sticky and shiny and I prefer them to look matte or slightly sheeny...long story short!
Anyway I was browsing superdrug and the colour of these looked so lovely and swatches they were so pigmented it was hard to choose 1 so unpicked up 2 but restraint kicked in and I managed to buy just one! I went for a bright pink, not as bright as some of the pinks they had.
Anyway it's plumping so it's a little tingly but I quite like that effect. It doesn't feel sticky and is thick. It's pretty close to a lipstick so itching that's why I get on so well with it.
I did har to put a couple of thin coats of this to get a bright colour but it's one of the best, most pigmented glosses I have tried. Plus it's only £2!

Lee Stafford beach blondes shampoo

Just a heads up if you have blonde hair and want something to take out that brassy look then try this!
Currently 3 for 2 on all hair care in boots it's a great time to give this a go.
I lather it in my hair and leave it for a few minutes then rinse and condition. I have only used this a couple of times but if your blonde I think you can feel what I'm saying! You just KNOW!! It's really highly pigmented purple and you only use it once a week so this huge bottle will last a lifetime!
Has anyone else used this?

Colour restore iced platinum

This is a toner for getting platinum hair! I coloured my hair from red to blonde around 2 months ago and i toned it within an inch of its life, still I wanted white hair! I understand you can't get from red to white straight away but this stuff is amazing!!
My hair had a slightly yellow tinge and after bleaching my roots I wanted ofet that yellow out and white in!
Here are the results...(just so you know I have a few pinks streaks in my hair so those orangey/pink bits are meant to be there ;) )

Fashionista pallette

I already have one of these filled with blushes but never really use it. Its a great travel palette but not for everyday ...when will I use 4 blushes in one day?
So as they as currently £10 for four inserts and the pallette I thought I'd get one I could use for everyday makeup!
And it's a beauty!
The eyeshadows last all day without primer, they are silky and pigmented. The blush I have is juicy apricot is amazing its such a gorgeous colour and lasted on me for over 10 hours I am impressed!!
Here are some pictures of the pallete..
Do you have any recommendations for inserts I can swap in and out of this??

Hand cream...lavera

I hate applying sticky, wet lotions that don't soak into the skin. Especially while I'm out or a work as I don't have the time to wait for it to sink in.
I received this is glossy box or Jolie box (I have received so much bloody hand cream I don't know what came where!) and I chucked in the back of a drawer thinking I would never use it.
One day I had a huge sort out and with all the YouTube videos recently 'products I used up' it inspired to me to finish some things and really giving them a go.
I used to hate using things up but now I love it, I haven't got many empties yet but I'm getting there!
Anyway after that long winded explanation...
I expected nothing from this cream, I chucked it on my desk and picked it up every now and then squirted a bit of it and rubbed it in...then carried on typing...took me a while to realise I wasn't sat around waiting for this to soak in...it made my hands feel lovely And soft and not one bit greasy!
I apply it all the time and have loads left still!
It doesn't have a strong smell and is vegan!
This is a great hand cream!
I'm not sure on price but I'm definitely going to be using more of the samples I have as they are great to stick in your bag and you never know you may find a diamond in the rough...

Nailene calcium gel tip kit

I love fake nails, they look so gorgeous and I would Sport them all the time if I could but they're such hard work. They ruin you're real nails, grow out fast and cost a fortune to up keep.
So I usually rock the natural look however spotted these in boots on 3 for 2 and thought I give them a go.
They are really easy to apply, although I have done this many times before so it may take a little bit of practice for those who haven't done it before.
It took me around half an hour to apply them and so far so good, I will let you know how long these last but I would recommend for a special occasion or if you fancy spurs sing up your nails!

Sleek Pout paint...rosette

I love these, they are amazing!!
The only problem???...I only have two!
I recently picked up this bright pink (it was the least vivid of two pinks I wanted!)
It applies like a dream, smooth and rich in pigment! It also lasts for hours! I apply mine with a real techniques detailed brush! Perfect for a hot summers day!
I think I may buy the white one next SI I can mix up my own colours and get creative!

Chanel...a disappointment? It cannot be!!

So I have lusted after this since I first laid eyes on this beauty...it's an unusual colour, people rave about them... Plus it's Chanel!!
It's emerveille illusion d'ombre and it cost me 22.50!
I had such a shitty day so this was the only thing that would make me happy so off I trotted with my plastic brought this and made it home in one piece without killing anyone! Broke open the seal and slicked it on...it wobbled around in it's pot, smushed about...it wouldn't attach itself to my finger to apply it to my eye lid!!
Hmmm...tried a brush...a little better but I practically had to scoop a bit out and drag it onto my eye lid then warm it into my lid with my finger!
Ok so once it's on it lovely, a hint of pink and a slight shimmer...beautiful...For about 20 mins then it has creased and is gone within the hour!
It's so beautiful and I want to love it but I can't !
Does anyone know how to make this work? Iv tried urban decay primer potion it still creases! Ideas??
Here are some lovely pictures anyway..

Mac strobe liquid dupes???

I have always wanted to try mac strobe cream or liquid but it's just so expensive for something you don't really need!
I was buying something else in mac and decided to ask for a sample! (last time I asked they said they had run out of pots! Typical!)
So i really enjoyed using it I rubbed it on my cheekbones before foundation and it gave a lovely glow and then reading other reviews and blogs people said there was a dupe...loreal lumi magique primer...so I put it to the test!!
I lined it up against loreal and soap and glory hocus focus ...closest match was the soap and glory hocus focus!
Loreal has a golden/champagne undertone and is cerythik and creamy but the strobe liquid and hocus focus have a pink under tone and are slightly runnier. I would say s&g is a touch more peach and a tad more warm toned but they are pretty much the same!
Here are some pictures... (from left to right MAC, LOREAL & SOAP AND GLORY)

Maybelline 10hr tint gloss

Just purchased the 'dupe' of the ysl lip stain/gloss in forever coral.
I had time to kill while waiting for my train so popped into boots. These caught my Eye and I Have been lustig after the ysl version since their realise I thought this would be a good starting point and at £6.99 almost £20.00 difference...!
There were about 8 shades and they were all pretty dark, deep and pinky red coloured.
I went for the coral but it's mostly red with a hint of coral.
I applied 3 coats and you can see after 1 coat then two and three.
Iv not tried the 10 hr wear to see if it's true but if you layer this up it seems to last quite well through eating and drinking.
Btw the smell of this is INCREDIBLE!!!

Revlon lip butter strawberry shortcake...Review

I don't know how long i have waited for these beauties! Do you remember the hype surrounding them? those of us in the UK had to wait and wait...and wait (seemed like forever) I even set a reminded on my phone calender to when they were released. (loser much?)

So they were finally available in boots and i walked in ready to swatch away and buy buy buy!! But there were only 3 colours left to buy..and those were nude sparkly colours i would never wear. (yes i did pick them up thinking i might as well buy them if there the only ones left but thought better...i do have some restraint!!)
So i waited a bit longer for new stock and it never came... every time i walked in there would be none left. eventually i tracked some down and now have 3 colours. 2 pinky ones and a pinky red raspberry colour.
the one i have been wearing evrey day is this one.

strawberry shortcake

swatched once on arm.

POUT!! haha!

So my thoughts...They're nice lipstick but that's what they are just glossy lipsticks. They feel lovely and moisturizing on your lips. And i never wear a lipstick and a gloss so this is a good compromise.
I do like them but i feel as though the build up was so big that it was bound to be a disappointment.

I am trying to make my mind up whether i prefer these or the L'Oreal caress. my mind is still to be made up...watch this space!

Definitively go out and try some of these but don't expect more than you're going to get.

what colours have you tried?
